Video editing built into Gemini

98 tools on a real Studio board — cut, caption, grade and export. Footage stays on your machine.
1gemini mcp add --transport http eziclip https://mcp.eziclip.com/s/<token>

Install Eziclip in Gemini

Add the MCP server, enable the tools, then ask Gemini for a cut.

Ask Gemini to…

Copy any prompt and drop it into Gemini after you connect.
1gemini mcp add --transport http eziclip https://mcp.eziclip.com/s/<token>

Add the MCP server manually

Remote uses a Studio connector link. Local is a command your agent can run — you Allow once.

Install Eziclip skills

Skills teach the edit loop — watch, cut, caption, export — so the agent stays off ffmpeg.
1mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/eziclip-video2curl -fsSL https://eziclip.com/skills/eziclip-video/SKILL.md -o ~/.claude/skills/eziclip-video/SKILL.md

Start editing

Open Studio, copy your connector link, paste it into your agent.

Questions

No. Editing and rendering happen on your machine. Your agent only receives the downscaled preview frames and text (transcripts, project state) it asks for.

No. Exports are clean and unlimited on every plan, and an agent can run every tool. The free plan lets your agent run 10 tasks per rolling 30 days. An agent task is one editing job — from the first change your agent makes until it stops for 30 minutes (or hits 8 hours). Many tools in that job still count as one task. Plus is unlimited. The agent can read what is left with get_plan_status.

One editing job: from the first change your agent makes until it stops for 30 minutes, or until 8 hours pass — whichever comes first. Cuts, captions, voiceover and export prep in that stretch are still one task. Exports themselves never use a task slot.

A new task will not open. Your agent is told how long until the next free one, with the link to go unlimited. An already-open task is not cut off. Reading, previews and exports keep working.

No. With the eziclip CLI the Studio runs headless on your machine; you press Allow once to sign in. Files go in and out by path.

Any agent that supports MCP. We publish a setup page for each one on /ai — Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Zed, OpenClaw, ChatGPT, and dozens more.

Quick tools need none. The Studio uses a free account to open and sync your boards and to count agent tasks; Plus is a subscription on the same account.
